Penn State University's College of Art and Architecture’s e-Learning Institute has recently partnered with University of the Arts London to host the 3rd International Designs on e-Learning Conference. In the past, London has been the host city for this formerly biennial conference. Scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2008 the conference promises to continue its invigorating examination of established practice in the field, of innovations in teaching and learning with technology, of the challenges and successes presented by  the natures of our disciplines, and of the benefits of online and blended learning. The presentations at this conference have been of a high standard and typically break new ground, with innovative solutions to improving learning using technology, while paying particular respect to the fields of the Arts , Design and the Humanities.
